Acura has recently announced its plans to offer a special edition of the 2013 TL, which should add some interesting features to the popular model, over-seas.
According to the car manufacturer, the 2013 Acura TL Special Edition will be available in Crystal Black Pearl, in Bellanova White Pearl, in Silver Moon Metallic and Graphite Luster Metallic. Styling changes will include the Special Edition badging, the trunk mounted spoiler and the 18-inch alloy wheels, amongst other tweaks. The cabin of the model has received a dual-zone automatic climate control, Ebony leather seats, 276-watt audio system, keyless entry and a power moonroof.
“Joining the TL line as a mid-2013 model, the TL Special Edition offers a step up from the standard TL, with the addition of highly desirable feature upgrades, creating an incredible value in the luxury four-door sedan segment”, as the carmaker is saying in its official press release.
The 2013 Acura TL Special Edition is powered by a 3.5 liter V6 engine, which is producing a total output of 280 HP (209 kW) and it has a peak torque of 344 Nm (254 lb-ft). The unit is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission which is sending power to the front-wheel drive. Prices for the model have been set at 37,405 USD, without the 895 USD destination charge.
