Acura November Sales - down 28.4 percent compared to 2008

Acura achieve November sales of 8,769 units, an increase of 20.8 percent based on the daily selling rate*. Year-to-date sales** reached 95,148, down 28.4 percent compared to 2008.

Acura light trucks posted an impressive 72.2 percent gain for the month. The MDX luxury SUV sold 3,465 units, up 79.3 percent, and was the best selling Acura in November. The RDX posted strong sales of 943 units, up 50.5 percent versus November 2008.

“We kicked off our very successful ‘Acura Drive Safely for the Holidays’ event this month and we are already experiencing excellent results,” said Jeff Conrad, vice president of Acura sales. “Acura’s reputation for safety, technology and performance is winning over customers this holiday season.”

The TSX was Acura’s best selling sedan, with November sales of 2,126 units, up 35.0 percent. The TL performance luxury sedan sold 2,059 units for the month.
