The brand new Acura NSX Concept has been officially presented to the public, in a premiere, during the 2013 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
The new Acura NSX Concept is probably one of the most interesting vehicles to be developed by the carmaker over these past few years and after starting its life as a simple sketch on the paper, the model soon ended up spied by photographers while being tested and now it’s closer to its future customer than ever. But before the final production version of the Acura NSX will hit dealerships, the carmaker has to make sure that everything is in its right place and working just like it should.
The Acura NSX, in its final production version, is believed to receive a mid-mounted V6 direct injected engine under its hood, which will send power to the four-wheel drive, through a seven-speed manual transmission. The regular petrol burner will be backed up by two electric motors, which will send power to the front wheels. The new generation of the Acura NSX is believed to go on sale in 2015, as a 2016 model year. Additional details on the model are limited for the moment and will be announced close to its official presentation.
