The much delayed and highly-anticipated second generation of the Japanese supercar is finally up for order in the United States, where prospective owners can also use the online configurator.

The new online configurator can be used if the internet dweller will access and the visitors from then can select some of the options for the model – eight different exterior colors and four separate interior color schemes. There are also three packages such as the carbon fiber exterior sport package – which comes packing carbon fiber exterior sport package – and will set back the owner another $9,000, and for the cash the buyer will also receive a dark chrome exhaust finisher. If the cockpit is more important than people may choose a carbon fiber interior sport package which sports carbon fiber trim on the meter visor and the steering wheel. This one will be a cool $2,900 and also includes alloy pedals. The driver can also go for the optional technology package that goes for $2,800 and delivers front / rear parking sensors, a premium audio system, and a navigation system with voice recognition technology.

Customers can also go for other optional amenities such as a carbon fiber roof ($6,000), carbon-ceramic braking system ($9,900), carbon fiber engine cover ($3,600) and semi-aniline leather sport seats ($2,500). Once the configuration is complete, the prospective buyer can have a one-on-one talk with an authorized NSX retailer to help them with the order. The hybrid will be packing 573 hp thanks to the twin-turbocharged 3.5L V6 engine and three-electric motor Sport Hybrid SH-AWD system, both sending power to the wheels via a 9-speed dual-clutch transmission.
