Alfa Romeo has recently announced its plans to introduce the brand new 4C sports car this weekend, during the Goodwood Festival of Speed, in a local premiere.
After it was officially presented to the public just a few months ago, back in March, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, in a world premiere, the brand new Alfa Romeo 4C is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the carmaker announcing its arrival at the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed. According to the carmaker, the new Italian sports car will be unveiled in the UK this weekend, during the automotive event.
As a quick reminder, the Alfa Romeo 4C is powered by a 1.75 four-cylinder mid-mounted turbocharged unit, also used on the Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde, which is producing a total output of 237 HP in standard. The unit is mated to a twin clutch TCT transmission, with steering wheel mounted paddle shifters, which is allowing the model to accelerate form 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 5.2 seconds, with a top speed limited to 250 km/h (155 mph). The official starting price of the Alfa Romeo 4C will stand at approximately 60,000 euros.
