Alfa Romeo has recently announced its plans to introduce the new 4C sports car during the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed, next month.
After it was officially presented to the public, in a world premiere, a few months ago, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, the Alfa Romeo 4C is ending up in our news once again, this time with an announcement, made by the company. According to the Italian based automaker, the Alfa Romeo 4C will make its public debut in the UK in July, during the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
As a quick reminder, the Alfa Romeo 4C is taking its power from a 1.75 liter four-cylinder mid-mounted turbocharged engine, the same one from the Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde, which is producing a total output of 237 BHP. The unit is mated to a twin-clutch TCT transmission, with steering wheel paddle shifters. Power is being sent to the rear-wheel drive. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint takes 4.5 seconds and top speed stands at 250 km/h (155 mph). Alfa Romeo has received more 1,000 bookings for the new two-seater sports coupe and the first deliveries will begin in September.
