The Alfa Romeo 4C has been recently introduced at the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed, over the past weekend, where the sports car has made its dynamic debut.
After it was officially presented to the public a few months ago, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, the brand new Alfa Romeo 4C is ending up in our news once again, this time with the carmaker bringing it to the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed, where it was driven the 2 km long course to Goodwood House.
“The height difference between the beginning and end of the route is nearly 100meters (328 feet) and the route itself is so technical and difficult that it provides a tough test for the concentration and reactions of the best drivers in the world”, said the carmaker in its official press release.
The Alfa Romeo 4C is powered by a 1.75 liter four-cylinder mid-mounted turbocharged engine, used on the Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde, producing a total output of 237 BHP. The unit is mated to a twin-clutch TCT transmission, with steering wheel mounted paddle shifters, sending power to the rear wheels and allowing the 4C to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.5 seconds before reaching a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph). Deliveries of the car will begin in September.
