The first rendering with the Alfa Romeo 4C Shooting Brake by Zagato has recently hit the web.
After it was officially presented to the public, in its final production version, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, the Alfa Romeo 4C is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of a rendering. The image posted above is showing the 4C Shooting Brake by Zagato, a model which is much awaited by the brand’s fans, but that doesn’t mean that it will see daylight. In fact, Alfa Romeo didn’t announce anything on a Shooting Brake version developed with Zagato.
As a quick reminder, the Alfa Romeo 4C is powered by a 1.75 liter four-cylinder mid-mounted turbocharged engine, which is also used on the Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde. The unit is producing a total output o 237 BHP, and it’s mated to a twin-clutch TCT transmission, with steering wheel mounted paddle shifters. Power is being sent to the rear-wheel drive and the 4C can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds before reaching a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph). Deliveries of the 4C will begin in September.
