One of the first images with the Alfa Romeo 4C, shown in a convertible body style, has recently hit the web, and it might provide us with a first look into a possible new version of the model.
Did you ever wonder what an Alfa Romeo 4C Spider would look like? Well, if you haven’t don’t worry, there’s nothing wrong with you, probably, but now you are definitely asking that question and X-Tomi (FB) is coming to the rescue with an impressive rendering. Hopefully the carmaker will consider adding this second body style of the 4C to the production line too because it does look awesome.
The Alfa Romeo 4C has been in production since 2013 and it’s currently being assembled in Modena, Italy. The model in question is offered as a two-door coupe, with a rear mid-engine and rear-wheel drive layout. The 4C stands at 3,989 mm ling, 2,090 mm wide and 1,183 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,380 mm long and a curb weight of just 895 kg. Power is being provided by an all-aluminum 1,75 liter unit, which is rated at 240 HP (180 kW) at 6,000 rpm. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes 4.5 seconds and top speed stands at 258 km/h (160 mph).
