The Italian based automaker Alfa Romeo has recently released a teaser image for the 4C, ahead of the model’s debut scheduled for next year.
The teaser image posted above isn’t showing anything on the Alfa Rome 4C but we know that the model is supposed to be the spiritual successor of the 8C Competizione, which managed to attract buyers into the brand. The final production version of the Alfa Romeo 4C is expected to be officially presented to the public during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, but if the Swiss automotive event won’t be chosen by the carmaker, the model will most likely then make its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show, in autumn.
The final production version of the Alfa Romeo 4C is expected to get a 1.8 liter turbocharged engine under its hood, mated to a six-speed dual clutch transmission, which should allow the 1,980 lbs vehicle to sprint from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in just 4.5 seconds. The Alfa Romeo 4C hasn’t been announced for an American launch but rumors are saying that the model might hit the over-seas auto market in late 2013 or early 2014. More details on the Alfa Romeo 4C are limited for the moment and will be announced in 2013 during its debut.
