Alfa Romeo is planning to introduce the impressive 4C sports car to the United States, where the model in question should be making its way onto the market this year.
The announcement hasn’t been made official just yet but according to Detroit News, the impressive Alfa Romeo 4C will find its way onto the market in the United States by the end of June, this year. This will be marking the company’s highly anticipated return to the U.S. where the company is expected to sell fewer than 500 units this year and to grow to 8,400 units in 2015. This will be the carmaker’s only model available for order, for the moment, in the United States.
The Alfa Romeo 4C is currently being assembled in Modena, Italy, at the Maserati plant, and it has been in production since 2013. The model in question has a rear-mid engine and a rear-wheel drive layout and it’s two-door coupe body style stands at 3,989 mm in length, 2,090 mm in width and 1,183 mm in height, with a 2,380 mm long wheelbase and a total weight of just 895 kg. Power is being provided by a 240 HP (180 kW) 1.75 liter engine. The 0 to 100 km/h acceleration is made in 4.5 seconds and the model can reach a top speed of 258 km/h (160 mph).
