Alfa Romeo will be marking its return to the United States with the help of the recently unveiled 4C, which will be officially presented to the public next month, during the 2014 New York Auto Show.
The Italian based automaker will be officially bringing the new 4C to the United States, as the sports car will be making its public debut at the 2014 New York Auto Show. Even if this has been hinted a long time ago, the announcement has been made by John LaSorsa, the New York Auto Show chairman.
“The recent announcement that Alfa Romeo is returning to the market and has chosen the New York Auto Show to mark the occasion is very special for us and will be well received by our visitors”, said LaSorsa.
As you probably already know so far, the Alfa Romeo 4C has been officially unveiled in 2013 and it has a carbon fiber monocoque chassis. Power is coming from a 1.75 liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, rated at 240 HP (177 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque. The unit is connected to a dual clutch transmission which is allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and to reach a top speed of 258 km/h (160 mph).
