Alfa Romeo will present its updated version of the 4C Concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September, the same two-seater mid-engined sports car unveiled at the Geneva Auto Show earlier this year.
This is not the only surprise that Alfa Romeo has for us and the automaker has also announced that the 4C Concept will hit the production line to go on sale next year.
According to the car manufacturer, the new production model will be around four meters in length with a wheelbase of less than 2.4 meters.
The 4C Concept takes its power from a 1.7 liter turbocharged petrol engine, the same used in the Giulietta model, mated to a twin dry-clutch transmission. Even though Alfa didn’t provide the exact horsepower of the 4C, the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in less than five seconds and its top speed is 250 km/h (155 mph).
The Alfa Romeo 4C Concept which will debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September will appear in “Fluid Metal” metallic silver, opposed to the bright red color wore in Geneva.
