The Italian based aftermarket specialists at Romeo Ferraris have teamed up with a British tuning company named Autodelta to develop an upgrade program for the Alfa Romeo Brera.
According to the two tuners, the Alfa Romeo Brera is powered by a 3.2 liter V6 engine which is developing a total output of 349 horsepower and has a peak torque of 440 Nm (325 lb-ft), compared to the standard 256 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque (236 lb-ft). The power boost became possible thanks to Autodelta’s centrifugal supercharger kit which includes a compressor, intercooler, special piping, reprogrammed ECU and new full exhaust system.
The British aftermarket specialists at Autodelta say that the modified Alfa Romeo Brera can now accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5 seconds, compared to the 6.5 seconds for the standard model, while the top speed increased to 260 km/h (162 mph). The two tuners have also fitted the Alfa Romeo Brera with an adjustable sports suspension kit with new springs and shocks, along with a larger braking system.
The car’s exterior hasn’t been left aside either and a new aerodynamic body kit has been fitted, courtesy of Autodelta again and it comes with a new front bumper, a modified rear bumper and new side skirts.
