The brand new Alfa Romeo Giulia will be seen on the road in late next year.
Despite its official premiere which has been made a few weeks back, during the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, and its online unveil made earlier this summer, the Alfa Romeo Giulia is not quite ready to meet its future customers just yet. According to a report published by AutoExpress, the new midsized vehicle born in Italy will become available in late 2016.
The model in question will be hitting the dealerships of the company next fall and it will be seen on public roads by the end of the year. The high-performance range-topping Quadrifoglio Verde is expected to be priced from approximately 53,000 GBP, but an even lighter version, which will get racing seats, ceramic brakes and carbon fiber parts will become available as well, from 66,000 GBP.
The Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio Verde is going to compete against the BMW M3, the Mercedes-AMG C63 S, the Cadillac ATS-V, the upcoming Audi RS4 and other models in the segment. This is making use of a Ferrari sourced engine, a 3.0 liter twin turbo, which is capable of putting down a total of 502 HP (375 kW) and 600 Nm (443 lb-ft) of torque. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), the high performance model needs just 3.9 seconds. The vehicle has apparently lapped the Nurburgring in 7:39.0.
