The next Alfa Romeo Giulietta Cloverleaf will use the same engine from the 4C sports car and it will become available for order with an automatic transmission.
Alfa Romeo is planning to introduce the next Giulietta Cloverleaf with the same engine from the 4C sports car. The announcement hasn’t been made official just yet but according to the guys at Autocar, the model in question will receive the same unit from the 4C. The current version of the Giulietta Cloverleaf is coming with 235 HP and it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 6.8 seconds.
With the new engine, the future Alfa Romeo Giulietta Cloverleaf will get 240 HP, enough to cut the 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration time from 6.8 seconds to approximately 6.5 seconds. The model will use the TCT six-speed semi-automatic transmission, with two dry clutches, and no manual gearbox will be offered. The Cloverleaf will continue to be offered as the top of the line version, as the GTA sub-brand will not be reintroduced to the C-segment in the future. More details on the future Alfa Romeo Giulietta Cloverleaf are limited for the moment and will probably be announced over the following months.
