The Italian based automaker Alfa Romeo has recently announced its plans to introduce a facelifted version of the Giuletta in Frankfurt.
The Alfa Romeo Giulietta facelift will make its public debut on September 10, during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. the model in question will get chrome plated fog light frames, daytime running lights incorporated into the front headlights, three new liveries, the Bronze, the Anodizzato Blue and the Moonlight Pearl and three new alloy wheel designs, 16- to 18-inch in size. The facelift is aimed at adding the DRL which will be mandatory for cars sold in the EU from 2014 so this is a necessary upgrade rather than one meant to attract more customers.
New sports seats will be added in the cabin, in case of the top of the line Quadrifoglio erde, wrapped in black leather / Alcantara, with contrast stitching. The electro-welded logo will be added on the backrest. A new door panel and grab handle will be also fitted onto the model, along with new insert on the dashboard and central console. The USB port has been repositioned and there is even a new engine option, the 2.0 JTDM-2, with 150 HP. Additional details on the model are limited for the moment and will be announced during the German automotive event.
