Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sportiva to be launched in Italy in June image

The Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sportiva will be launched in Italy in the middle of June and the model will get some interesting updates, along with a choice of three engines.

According to the Italian based automaker, the Alfa Romeo Giulietta is a huge hit on the local auto market and the compact vehicle has dominated the May sales with almost 3,500 units finding new owners, which basically means a market share of 20 percent, mainly thanks to the new 1.4 liter engine with 120 HP, borrowed from the Fiat Group. But the Alfa Romeo Giulietta is just about to get even hotter, with the Sportiva version, which will be launched in the peninsula later on this month.

The Italian car manufacturer is saying that the company needs to fill the gap between the Sporty QV and the more economical models, just like BMW is doing with its M Sport packages for the regular diesel vehicles. And in order to bridge the gap, the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sportiva will be launched in mid-June. Alfa Romeo says that the Giulietta Sportiva will be available with the 1.4 Turbo MultiAir engine, with its 170 HP, mated to the h automatic Alfa TCT double clutch transmission, along with two diesels, the 140 HP2.0 JTDM and the 170 HP 2.0 JTDM.
