Alfa Romeo MiTo gets new TwinAir engine image

Alfa Romeo has recently announced that the MiTo model has just gotten the impressive TwinAir engine in the United Kingdom.

According to the Italian based automaker, the Alfa Romeo MiTo equipped with the TwinAir engine is coming in two trim levels, the Sprint and the Distinctive, with the first one getting a rear spoiler, fog lights and 16-inch alloy wheels, while the Distinctive is adding a sports rear bumper, red painted Brembo brake calipers, chrome finish for the exhaust pipes, wing mirrors and headlight trim and new 17-inch alloy wheels. Prices for the Alfa Romeo MiTo TwinAir Sprint start at GBP14,150 while for the Distinctive at GBP15,350 in the UK.

The two-cylinder 875 cc TwinAir Turbo engine is producing a total output of 85 BHP at 5,500 rpm and it has a peak torque of 145 Nm at 2,000 rpm, remaining constant up to 3,500 rpm. The Alfa Romeo MiTo powered by the TwinAir engine can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 12.5 seconds before reaching a top speed of 108 mph. The smallest model in Alfa Romeo’s lineup is returning 67.3 mpg (UK) and it’s emitting just 98 g/km of CO2, while offering a maximum driving pleasure and high-tec.
