The 2014 Alfa Romeo MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde has been officially unveiled ahead of its public debut which will take place next week, during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
The brand new Alfa Romeo MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde has been officially unveiled by the Italian based automaker as the model will be heading towards the Swiss automotive event. The vehicle in question has received features like the tailgate mounted spoiler, the sportier rear bumper with the integrated extractor, the dual exhaust system, the fog lights, the accents on the grille, the cloverleaf badging and the 17-inch alloy wheels, amongst others.
Alfa Romeo says that the MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde’s cabin will be coming with some special floor mats, with a revised instrumentation, with faux carbon fiber trim and with a leather wrapped steering wheel. The model is also getting the 5-inch display working with the Uconnect infotainment system, the dual-zone climate control and some other tweaks, which will help it stand out from a crowd.
Power to the Alfa Romeo MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde is being provided by a 1.4 liter MultiAir Turbo engine, which is developing 170 HP (125 kW) and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) of torque. The unit is mated to a dual clutch transmission which is allowing the model to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.3 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 219 km/h (136 mph). The average fuel consumption stands at 5.4L / 100km (52.3 mpg UK / 43.5 mpg US) and the CO2 emissions stop at 124 g/km.
