Alfa Romeo MiTo Racer shown ahead of Geneva image

The Alfa Romeo MiTo Racer has been officially unveiled over the web as it will be making its public debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, on the 3rd of March.

With the 2015th edition of the Geneva Motor Show close to opening its gates for the media, on the 3rd of March, most carmakers are getting ready for the biggest automotive event on the Old Continent in the first half of the year. Alfa Romeo makes no exception from this rule and it has recently unveiled the so-called MiTo Racer, which is just about anything but a racing car. We have to admit, however, that this is one appealing ride.

“With its sporting style and roadworthiness, which has made it a recognized point of reference in its category, the new MiTo Racer version makes its debut in Geneva this year targeting a more mature clientele that is interested in new tendencies, as suggested by the numerous chromed stylistic elements and the brown eco-leather upholstery for a vintage look which indicates a sophisticated and contemporary style”, says Alfa in the press release.

The new Alfa Romeo MiTo has received the unique mirror caps, the checkered flag decal for the roof, the satin chrome accents, the chrome exhaust tips and the 17-inch alloy wheels. The interior design of the model is bringing the grey textile seats, brown eco-leather, brown stitching, embroidered headrests, Alfa Romeo branded floor mats, Uconnect infotainment with a 5-inch display and more. The engine lineup will include everything from the 85 HP (62 kW) 1.3L JTDM to the 140 HP (103 kW) 1.4L MultiAir.
