Alfa Romeo has recently announced its plans to introduce the MiTo SBK special edition to the 2012 Paris Motor Show on the 27th of September.
The Italian based automaker says that the Alfa Romeo MiTo has been designed in order to celebrate the company’s involvement in the Superbike World Championship and the model is actually based on the Quadrifoglio Verde, getting a two-tone exterior, Brembo brakes, Alfa Romeo Active Suspension with adjustable shock absorbers and 18-inch alloy wheels.
The interior design of the Alfa Romeo MiTo SBK special edition hasn’t been left aside either and the model is coming nicely equipped with Alcantara upholstery, Sabelt seatbelts, dual-zone climate control, Blue&Me connectivity system and an individually-numbered plaque.
Power to the Alfa Romeo MiTo SBK special edition is provided by a 1.4 liter MultiAir engine which is producing a total output of 168 HP (170 PS / 125 kW), which is allowing the model to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just “over 7 seconds”, while burning an average of 4.8L/100km of fuel (49 mpg US / 58.8 mpg UK). Production of the Alfa Romeo MiTo SBK will be limited to just 200 units.
