Alfa Romeo has recently announced the delivery start of the first 4C Launch Edition units. According to the Italian based automaker, the cars in question have been delivered to customers at a special ceremony held at the Balocco Test Center, in the company’s home land. The European customers, from Italy, Germany, France, Netherlands and Switzerland, were also treated to an exclusive driving experience with the carmaker’s test drivers and with Nicola Larini, the 1993 DTM champion.
The new Alfa Romeo 4C Launch Edition is coming exclusively in either Alfa Red or Carrara White and the model in question has been fitted with a carbon fiber body kit. The sports car is also getting the Bi-LED headlights, the 18- or 190inch alloy wheels, finished in a dark shade, leather or microfiber sports seats, red contrast stitching and an individually numbered plaque. Power to the model is provided by the same 1.75L four-cylinder unit, like the one found on the standard car, which is good for 240 HP (176 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes 4.5 seconds and top speed stands at 250 km/h (155 mph).
