The prices for the new generation Nissan NP 300 Navara on the UK market start from 21, 995 British pounds – and for those money customers do get the winner of the International Pickup of the Year award.
The new generation of the midsize pickup has recently won the most prestigious accolade possible for the pickup segment – International Pick-up of the year 2016 – while the production is now underway at the factory in Barcelona, Spain. The ceremony, taking place in Lyon, France – had the Navara as the winner in front of fierce competition represented by such new models as the Mitsubishi L200 and Ford Ranger. Among the key additions of the all new Navara the jury appreciated the new rear five-point multi-link suspension for the Double Cab version, as well as the interesting Around View Monitor (360 degrees view around the vehicle), or the Forward Emergency Braking system (alongside other safety features: seven airbags, electronic limited slip differential, Hill Start Assist and Hill Descent Control).
With sales starting across Europe early 2016, we now know the prices for the British market – which start at 21,995 pounds when choosing the 2WD King Cab single turbo variant. Five different trims will be available: Visia, Acenta, Acenta+, N-Connecta and Techna next to the King Cab and Double Cab configurations. The new 2.3-litre dCi diesel powerplant is under the hood and can deliver either 157hp with a single turbo and 187hp in the twin-turbo version, with 2WD and 4WD and a choice of six-speed manual or seven-speed automatic gearboxes.
