The first image with what is believed to be the production version of the Lexus LF-NX SUV has leaked onto the web, revealing how the model may look like once it will hit the market.
Originally unveiled during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, in concept form, the brand new Lexus LF-NX SUV is ending up into our news once again, this time in its final production form, with the help of a leaked image. The photo in question was part of a presentation made at the debut of the 2014 NAIAS in Detroit, made by Toyota USA’s CEO and the main differences between this and the concept can be seen in its front fascia.
The production version of the Lexus LF-NX SU has been hinted by Paul Van der Burgh, the company’s director. The concept version had a Brushed Metal silver paint, muscular wheel arches, boomerang taillights, independent daytime running lights, a diamond shaped mesh, spindle grille and others. As far as the engine goes, the one-off vehicle was taking its power from a hybrid powertrain, which used a 2.5 liter Atkinson cycle four-cylinder engine, backed up by an electric motor. The new Lexus LF-NX SUV is believed to be officially unveiled, in its final production form, during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
