Scuderia’s F1 drivers Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa have recently went for a spin in the Ferrari 458 Italia, having a laugh or two in the Italian supercar.
The Ferrari 458 Italia is probably one of the best mid-engined supercar money can buy in our days and after we have seen just about everything with it, starting with competitions and ending with crashes, the carmaker has put its Formula 1 drivers, Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa, in one. What came up can be seen in the footage posted below, but it will probably make you wish for a 458 Italia of your own even more.
As a small reminder, the Ferrari 458 Italia is a mid-engined sports car which is replacing the old Ferrari F430. The 458 Italia was officially presented to the public back in 2009, at the Frankfurt Motor Show and it’s powered by a 4.5 liter V8 engine, also shared with Maserati, which is producing a total output of 562 horsepower at 9,000 rpm and it has a peak torque of 540 Nm available at 6,000 rpm. 80 percent of its torque is available from 3,250 rpm. The engine is mated to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission and the Ferrari 458 Italia has been designed by Pininfarina.
