The Alpha One has been recently previewed by its creators, Alpha-N Performance, revealing its side and its front fascia which have a lot of things in common with the Porsche Cayman.
According to the company, the Alpha-N Performance Alpha One has been based on the Porsche Cayman and the vehicle is coming with a carbon fiber body which is borrowing some lines from the 918 Spyder. Alpha-N Performance is saying that the Alpha One will weigh between 1,080 and 1,280 kg (2,381 – 2,821 lbs) once it will hit the market in the nearby future.
Even if the Alpha One has been previewed by Alpha-N Performance, we actually don’t know anything technical about the model in question and its engine options remain a mystery, but the company is saying that they will produce between 300 PS and 800 PS, which is translated into 296 HP and 789 HP. The fact that the output will vary so much mans that there will be a wide range of engines available for the Alpha One, but nothing is official for the moment. Alpha-N Performance might pull a surprise on everyone and present its Alpha One during the 2012 Paris Motor Show this September, but the company didn’t announce anything yet.
