The wraps have been pulled off the brand new Alpine Vision Gran Turismo as the model will be offered as part of the free update in the popular video game.
After leaking out and then being teased, the brand new Alpine Vision Gran Turismo is now being placed into the spotlights once again as the French based automaker Renault has officially pulled the wraps off its body. Just like every other Vision Gran Turismo concept out there, the one signed by Renault is also getting a truly impressive design but unlike many, it will be exhibited in the flesh next weekend, at the 2015 Retromobile Show, in Paris.
“The Alpine Vision Gran Turismo stands at the crossroads of the past, present and future, at the frontier between motorsport and road cars. It also provides a link between the virtual and real worlds”, said the CEO of Societe des Automobiles Alpine, Bernard Ollivier.
The newest one-off vehicle to come from Renault is packing in an impressive engine, a 4.5 liter V8, which is capable of producing no less than 450 HP (331 kW) at 6,500 rpm and 580 Nm (428 lb-ft) of torque, available from 2,000 rpm. The unit is sending its power to the rear wheels through a 7-speed sequential transmission. The Alpine Vision Gran Turismo is weighing 900 kg and it has a 47:53 weight distribution, being capable of reaching a top speed of 320 km/h (199 mph). More details on it will probably be announced between the 4th and the 6th of February, at the 2015 Retromobile Show, at Porte de Versailles, Paris.
