The upcoming Amelia Island Concours in Florida, taking place between March 10 and 12, will feature not one but two exquisite Singer vehicle Design Porsche 911s.
With a mere 60 restorations since 2009, Singer’s work is still very much exclusive, though masterful at reimagining the iconic model in slightly modern cue. As such, it would be a loss not to grace the upcoming Amelia Island Concours with a visit where not one but two examples for recent clients will be on display. Singer’s Miami commission is the company’s first example with a sunroof – the Light Ivory white 911 is apparently pledging comfort, instead of outright speed. This is thanks to the interior’s our-way adjustable Touring seats with brass grommets – there’s also a black-leather-covered dashboard with Warm Chocolate brown leather for the matching contrast.
The second is a Florida commission, with a Hemingway Blue exterior and Bahama Yellow lettering for the retro vibe – as well as a Sand Beige interior that gracefully uses leather and suede, for a timeless vintage creation. By the way, this version needed a year for completion and came out great – at the 2016 Sun Valley Road Rally, the owner reached up to 176.2 miles per hour thanks to the tuned 4.0-liter air-cooled flat six with 390 horsepower.
