An official video with the new Audi RS4 Avant hitting the road has been recently released by the German based automaker.
After making its official debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, the new generation of the Audi RS4 Avant is once again highlighted, this time with the “help” of an official video which is showing the powerful vehicle hitting the road. The new Audi RS4 Avant has a large hexagonal grille with aluminum style finish, LED daytime running lights, front splitter, dual oval exhaust, large alloy wheels, bucket seats (available as an option), leather multi-function steering wheel and aluminum accents.
The 2013 Audi RS4 Avant is powered by the hand built 4.2 liter V8 engine, which is developing a total output of 444 horsepower and it has a peak torque of 430 Nm (318 lb-ft). The powerful model can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.7 seconds before hitting the electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph), but the speed limited can be removed and the top speed increases to 280km/h (174 mph).
The engine is mated to a seven-speed S tronic transmission, which is sending power to the company’s Quattro all-wheel drive system with a 40:60 front / rear distribution. With the driving dynamics added, the power can be passed up to 70% to the front and up to 85 percent to the rear. All this power is available with an average fuel consumption of 11L/100km which is translated to 21.38 mpg in the United States. The starting price of the 2013 Audi RS4 Avant has been set at EUR76,600 and sales will begin in autumn.
