Some leaked patent images may be showing what the 2015 Porsche 911 Targa may look like once it will be officially hitting the market next year.
The 2015 Porsche 911 Targa is being placed into the spotlights with the help of some leaked photos. The images posted below are drawings which might be offering us a first look into the future body style of the model. The new Porsche 911 Targa, which is based on the 991, will receive a retro look which should make the company’s fans all mushy about the model. From the images posted below, we can see the removable section, the fixed glass rear window, the bulky B-pillar and some other tweaks.
As far as the engine lineup goes, the new 2015 Porsche 911 Targa is believed to get a choice of two units under its hood, which will include the 3.4 liter flat-six, with its 350 HP (257 kW) and 390 Nm (288 lb-ft) of torque, along with a 3.6 liter flat-six, producing a total output of 400 HP (294 kW) and 440 Nm (324 lb-ft) of torque, in the Targa S. The 2015 Porsche 911 Targa is believed to be officially presented to the public next year, during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, in March.
