A few images with the so-called Ferrari 458 Speciale Spider have recently hit the web ahead of its public presentation scheduled for the 2014 Paris Motor Show, next month.
The development of the Ferrari 458 Speciale Spider is no longer a surprise as the model in question is going to be officially presented to the public, in a premiere, next week, on the 2nd of October, during the 2014 Paris Motor Show. The newest supercar to roll off the Maranello production line has apparently leaked out in a few images which are said to be screenshots of the private configurator, aimed towards the future possible buyers of the vehicle.
These have been shown at a Ferrari dealership recently and someone has decided to take them as a “souvenir”. The upcoming supercar is believed to be produced in just 458 units and power should be provided by the same engine found in the 458 Italia, 458 Spider and 458 Speciale, the 4.5 liter V8 unit. In the 458 Speciale Spider, the engine is believed to produce 605 HP (445 kW) and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint should be made in less than 3.4 seconds and top speed should stand at 320 km/h (199 mph).
