A couple of images depicting the final design of the new Audi Q6 have recently hit the web.
The German based automaker Audi is said to offer a new production crossover to its lineup, in the shape of the so-called Q6, which will be making its public debut in September, during the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, in a premiere. The model in question is now ending up in our news thanks to a couple of images which have been published by Auto Motor und Sport, revealing its partial design ahead of its official unveil, revealing stylish crossover with a relatively low roof.
Considering the fact that it has a sloping roofline and that it is being referred to as the Audi Q6, chances are this will be offered against models such as the BMW X6 or the Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe. The new Audi vehicle is getting a lot of plastic body cladding, muscular rear fenders, flush door handles, a tailgate mounted spoiler and large alloy wheels, with a multi-spoke design, amongst others. Rumor has it that the new Audi Q6 will be making use of the MLB Evo platform and it should come with an all-electric powertrain, making use of no less than 3 electric motors and a 90 kWh battery. The concept version should produce 500 HP (373 kW) and 700 Nm (517 lb-ft) of torque, coming with a total range of at least 500 km (311 miles). Additional details on this model are limited at this time and will be announced in Frankfurt
