An image with what seems to be the future generation of the Ford Mustang has recently made its way onto the web.
The 2015 Ford Mustang has already been caught testing by spy photographers over-seas but the test mules were always covered in heavy camouflage and despite rendering artists trying to offer a first preview of the model, the result was not always that clever, until now at least. The guys at Car and Driver have released, on the December issue cover, what seems to be the first image with the new Ford Mustang generation. We’re not sure if this is actually the real deal or a simple rendering, but it does worth to take a look at it.
The 2015 Ford Mustang is believed to get come with a similar size but with an updated looks, which should turn some heads away from its main competitors, the Chevrolet Camaro and the Dodge Challenger. Modifications should be kept in the headlights and front grille mostly while in the cabin, higher quality materials will be used and upgraded technology will be adopted. The engine lineup is said to include a 5.0 liter V8, with 450 HP (335 kW), and, for the first time in history, a 2.3 liter four-cylinder EcoBoost, which will be good for 360 HP (261 kW).
