Ariel has released the first official images with the new Atom 3.5R Special Edition, which will carry a price of 54,000 GBP, plus VAT, once it will become available for order.
Originally announced just a few hours ago, the new Ariel Atom 3.5R Special Edition is being highlighted once more, this time with the carmaker releasing its first official images. The model in question has a pushrod suspension system, updated with new dampers signed by Ohlins, it’s coming with a choice of springs depending on where you will spend the majority of your time, road or track, with different body work, tires, wheels and so on.
Power to the Ariel Atom 3.5R Special Edition is being provided by a Honda Civic Type R K20 engine, which has been supercharged. The 2.0 liter four-cylinder unit is now producing a total output of 350 HP (261 kW), compared to the previous 310 HP (231 kW) and it has received a new charge cooler too. The vehicle will be coming with a 6-speed Sadev paddle shift transmission, tweaked. The Ariel Atom 3.5R Special Edition will be hitting the market later on this summer. More details on it will be announced close to its launch.
