The Ariel Atom 3S has been officially unveiled, over the web, as a creation of Ariel and TMI AutoTech.
The brand new Ariel Atom 3S is coming with some interesting features such as the full glass windscreen, which is allowing a clear view, a full LCD display, indicating the water temperature, the fuel level, the gear position, the rpm and the speed, a cockpit adjustable traction control, four-piston brake calipers for all four wheels, adjustable dampers for the suspension system, three transmission options, standard, close ration or Sadev 6-speed sequential, offering some optimal track performance and several other tweaks to help it stand out from a crowd.
Ariel and TMI AutoTech have provided the brand new Atom 3S with a 2.4 liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol burner, “borrowed” from Honda, which is capable of producing no less than 365 HP (268 kW) and it has a peak torque of 420 Nm (310 lb-ft). Thanks to this setup, the Atom 3S can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in less than 2.8 seconds and it can run a quarter mile in approximately 10.7 seconds. Prices for the model have been set at 89,750 USD, or the equivalent of 70,800 euros, at the current exchange rates.
