The German based automaker Artega has been recently bought by Paragon AG and the new owner has no plans to resume production of the sports cars.
After filling for insolvency back in July, Artega has ended its car production and it was recently bought by Paragon AG, which is planning to continue to service and offer replacement parts for the Artega models, but the company has no apparent plans to resume the production which was stopped by the automaker on the 30th of September.
“On September 30, 2012, production of the Artega GT sports car was discontinued. We would like to thank you for your support and the understanding you have expressed to our company”, as the automaker’s official website said.
As a quick reminder, the Artega Automobil GmbH & Co. KG is a German sports car manufacturer, founded back in 2006 by Klaus Dieter Frers and based in Delbruck. The company is producing sports cars and the most interesting one by far is the Artega GT, which was officially presented to the public in a world premiere during the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show.
