An Aston Martin DBS used in the James Bond film Quantum of Solace will be auctioned in order to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the spy movies.
At the auction which will take place between the 28th of September and the 8th of October, an Aston Martin DBS, which was used in the Quantum of Solace, James Bond film, will be auction and Christie’s is estimating that the British supercar will get somewhere between 160,000 USD and 240,000 USD, less than its original price tag in 2008 of 265,000 USD.
The 2008 Aston Martin DBS in question is just one of seven to survive the stunts in the film and it was actually driven by Daniel Craig in his role as James Bond. The model is getting all the standard features as a normal DBS, including carbon fiber trim and a black interior, along with a 6.0 liter V12 engine which is producing a total output of 510 horsepower. The unit is mated to a six-speed manual transmission. All proceeds from the auction will be donated to 12 different charities.
Besides the 2008 Aston Martin from James Bond Quantum of Solace, a replica of the BMW Z8 roadster, from the movie The World is not Enough, will be also auctioned, along with the silk wrap dress worn by Halle Berry in Die Another Day and the swimming trunks worn by Daniel Craig in Casino Royale.
