According to a recent survey more customers would chose an Aston Martin compared with any other car.
A recent survey by the Future Drive Motor Show, shows that British brands keep the first spots in top 10 dream cars. Four British automakers made it on top 10 list of ‘money no object’ cars, with Aston Martin having the crown. On the second spot is McLaren, followed by Bentley and Jaguar. The top 10 list also includes three Italian brands, Lamborghini, Ferrari and Maserati, and three German brands, Mercedes, Porsche and Audi.
“The glamour and desirability of our iconic brands seem to grow. Ingrained in our minds are the ‘Bentley Boys’, the ‘James Bond Astons’ and Jaguar’s E-Type, while the new boy, McLaren, needs no introduction,” said Giles Brown, managing director of the Future Drive Motor Show.
On another matter, Investindustrial recently bought a 37.5 percent stake in the UK manufacturer for 190 million euro ($254 million) in a capital increase. Following Investindustrial’s cash influx, Aston Martin can now compete with rival companies such as Bentley, Ferrari and Maserati. Daimler declined to comment on possible talks with Aston Martin.
