The British based automaker Aston Martin has released a new set of images with the impressive Lagonda, in its final production version.
Aston Martin’s newest creation is named the Lagonda and instead of being a high-performance supercar, it is actually a luxury sedan. The model in question has been handcrafted with the CFRP (carbon fiber reinforced plastic) being longer than it looks in the images posted below. The company says that the luxury cruiser stands at 5.4 meters in length and it is riding on a wheelbase of 3, 189 mm long, which is basically similar to what a Rolls-Royce has to offer.
The exterior design of the Aston Martin Lagonda is paying its tribute to the 1976 Lagonda, designed by William Towers, and the cabin has a dashboard which is almost identical to the one found on the Rapide. The Aston Martin Lagonda’s powertrain hasn’t been detailed for the moment but rumors are saying that this will come in the shape of the 5.9 liter V12, rated at 552 HP and 630 Nm of torque, the same one as in the Rapide S. The Lagonda will be created in a limited number and all units will be aimed towards the Middle East.
