Aston Martin has released the first teaser image and details on the upcoming Lagonda which will be hitting the market early next year.
The British based automaker Aston Martin has put a stop to all rumors on the upcoming Lagonda with the help of the teaser image posted above. The car manufacturer has also released the first details of the extra-luxury sedan which will be coming in 2015 with its carbon fiber body panels and will be using the VH platform.
“The new model, like its exclusive siblings the One-77 and V12 Zagato, has been created as a piece of exceptional automotive art. It has been designed and developed entirely in keeping with the spirit and ethos of previous Lagonda super saloons – notably the William Towns Lagonda – and as a tribute to this car it proudly bears the Lagonda nameplate”, said Marek Reichman, the Aston Martin design director.
The new Aston Martin Lagonda will only be offered for sale by “invitation only” and if it has gotten your attention, you should also know that this will become available exclusively in the Middle East. The company has declined to provide technical specifications on the Lagonda for the moment but rumors are saying that the model in question will be getting a 6.0 liter V12 engine which will be producing approximately 600 HP (447 kW).
