After being presented to the European auto market back in 2009 at the Geneva Motor Show, Aston Martin has decided it’s time to bring the very exclusive model to the United States too, and the One-77 will be officially launched over-seas after its debut at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show next week.

“The One-77 epitomizes everything Aston Martin; modern technology fused with traditional hand-craftsmanship and painstaking attention to detail. A culmination of over 98 years of engineering and styling expertise, the One-77 offers supercar performance in excess of 200 mph with a functional yet elegant styled form that is distinctly Aston Martin”, as the company said in a statement.

According to the British based automaker, the Aston Martin One-77 takes approximately 2.700 man hours to assemble and it’s made by a team of 27 technicians. The model which will debut at the 2011 L.A. Auto Show is the pre-production version which has done 14.000 miles of testing.

The Aston Martin One-77 is powered by a 7.3 liter V12 engine generating a total output of 750 horsepower and a peak torque of 553 lb-ft, mated to a six-speed gearbox which allows the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds, with a top speed of over 200 mph.
