Aston Martin One-77 to be displayed at Australian International Motor Show image

An Aston Martin One-77 will be displayed at this year’s 2012 Australian International Motor Show in Sydney, as the event’s officials have recently announced.

The Aston Martin One-77 is one of the most exclusive supercars in the world and also one of the most expensive, being priced at over 1.2 million GBP, but even so, the models aren’t so reliable as Samuel Eto’o has found out earlier this year when his ride broke down in Paris. The Aston Martin One-77 will be displayed at this year’s Australian International Motor Show at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre.

“I am very proud and excited that an Aston Martin One-77 will be on display at the 2012 Australian International Motor Show”, said the event’s director, Russ Tyrie.

As a quick reminder, the Aston Martin One-77 takes about 2,700 man hours to assemble and it was being made by a team of 27 technicians. The model which debuted at the 2011 L.A. Auto Show was the pre-production version which has done 14,000 miles of testing. The Aston Martin One-77 is powered by a 7.3 liter V12 engine which is developing a total output of 750 horsepower and it has a peak torque of 553 lb-ft, mated to a six-speed transmission which allows the model to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds before hitting a top speed of 200 mph.
