Aston Martin partners with Quintessence Yachts for new AM37 power boat image

Yesterday we told you about Henrik Fisker Design’s proposed the British supercar manufacturer that also had Fisker in its services, also tipping its fingers into the lucrative boating industry.

Aston Martin and Quintessence Yachts have just revealed a teaser of the AM37 boat, set to be introduced during the Milan Design Week and most likely also ready to be featured in the upcoming installment of James Bond. If the super spy does get the AM37 we’re hoping it’s not going to be in another edition of the horrible Heineken commercial. Aside from these philosophical details, the AM37 was actually created to render the performance and style of the Aston Martin brand, with the boat actually being the result of numerous years of research and development. Both brands have decided to remain mysterious about details but hinted the model focuses on bringing together the two worlds in a “perfect balance of design and engineering, performance and comfort, luxury and functionality.”

The AM37 looks like an impressive ride with the stylish design details and a wraparound windscreen with bright metal accents. We also noticed the teak decking and maybe caught a glimpse of a power retractable cover that protects the interior when the AM37 is docked. The cabin is bathing in luxury with premium leather seats, carbon fiber trim, and an Aston Martin-inspired steering wheel. There’s also a digital instrument cluster, a high-tech infotainment system, and a leather-wrapped throttle that has been inspired by a car gear selector. “The most important attribute for Aston Martin is the language of design and we have transferred this language into AM37. The new powerboat represents the ideal combination of luxurious and technical materials, generating a powerful yet understated finished product,” has commented Marek Reichman, Aston Martin’s Chief Creative Officer.
