Aston Martin Rapide Shooting Brake unveiled by Bertone

The famous Italian design house Stile Bertone has recently pulled the wraps off its latest creation, a one-off Aston Martin Rapide Shooting Brake, ahead of the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.

The Aston Martin Rapide Shooting Brake in question is a concept car made by Bertone which will be officially presented to the public next week, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. According to the design house, the concept is named the Jet 2+2 and it’s celebrating sixty years of collaboration between the two companies. The Aston Martin Rapide Shooting Brake has the same dimensions and mechanicals as the standard version, under a different body style.

Bertone says that the model has full length LED strip at the back, a raked tailgate, C-pillars bent forward and some other tweaks. The cabin of the model has a 2+2 seating arrangement, more headroom for the rear passengers, folding rear seats, two-tone leather trims, aluminum and wood trims and more. Bertone didn’t say anything about the engine found under the hood of the Aston Martin Shooting Brake. Additional details on the concept car are limited for the moment and will be announced during the Swiss automotive event next week.
