The British based automaker Aston Martin has recently announced that the V12 Vantage Roadster will be officially presented to the public at the seventh edition of the UK’s Salon Prive.
After pulling the wraps off the 2013 Aston Martin V12 Vantage Roadster not too long ago, the car manufacturer is bringing the model into the spotlights once more, this time by announcing that the sports car will be officially presented to the public at the upcoming Salon Prive. Aston Martin says that the 2013 V12 Vantage Roadster is swapping the Jaguar based V8 engine from the V8 Vantage for the in-house V12 unit.
The Aston Martin V12 Vantage Roadster is getting a strengthened body structure, necessary for the folding soft top, a modified front and rear suspensions, a revised luggage lid, a rear spoiler, new forged alloy wheels, carbon fiber mirror caps and side strakes, rear lamp black outer trim, black exhaust pipes and more. Under the hood, the V12 Vantage Roadster is getting a 6.0 liter V12 unit, producing a total output of 512 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque, mated to a six-speed manual transmission which is sending power to the rear wheels. The V12 Vantage Roadster will start at 150,000 GBP and it will be made in a limited run of 101 units.
