Aston Martin has officially unveiled the new V12 Vantage S Roadster, which is following the same footsteps as the V12 Vantage S Coupe.
The brand new Aston Martin V12 Vantage S Roadster is coming with some carbon fiber components, with an aggressive front grille inspired by the CC100 Speedster Concept, with black or titanium silver accents, with a ventilated hood and some other tweaks. The cabin of the model has received the optional carbon fiber package, adding the black alloy pedals, the carbon fiber door handles and the carbon fiber trim, the Q customizations, like the anodized switchgear and so on.
“The new roadster is truly a treat for the senses with, underlying all this, the capacity to deliver one of the most dynamic, exciting and stirring driving experiences in our current range”, said Marek Reichman, the Aston Martin director of Design.
Besides the features mentioned above, the new Aston Martin V12 Vantage S Roadster is also coming with the three-stage dynamic stability control system, with the two-stage anti lock braking system, with the Sport mode and with the carbon ceramic brakes, which should be making quite a difference compared to other sports cars currently found in the company’s lineup.
As far as the engine goes, the Aston Martin V12 Vantage S Roadster is coming with a 6.0 liter V12 under its hood. The unit is good for 565 HP (421 kW) and 620 Nm (457 lb-ft) of torque, connected to the 7-speed Sportshift III transmission. The British based automaker says that the vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.1 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 323 km/h (201 mph). The V12 Vantage S Roadster will go on sale later on this year. No pricing details have been announced yet.
