The very first renderings with the Aston Martin V12 Vantage S Roadster have recently made their way onto the web and they might provide us with a first look into a possible production model.
Releasing some renderings with the Aston martin V12 Vantage S Roadster isn’t so hard, considering the fact that its solid roof brother has been already unveiled. The powerful drop-top is expected to make its way onto the market over the following months, or in early 2014, and this is expected to be heavier than the coupe’s 1,665 kg (3,670 lbs), due to chassis strengthening.
The Aston Martin V12 Vantage S Roadster will probably be powered by the same 6.0 liter V12 engine in the coupe, which is producing a total output of 573 HP (421 kW) and 620 Nm of torque (457 lb-ft). The unit will be mated to a seven-speed automated manual Sportshift III AMT transmission, which will allow it to sprint from 0 to 100 km/ (62 mph) in just a little over 4 seconds, considering the fact that the coupe can do it in an estimated 4.0 seconds. Additional details on the Aston Martin V12 Vantage S Roadster are limited for the moment and will be announced close to its debut.
