Aston Martin has officially announced that the production version of the V12 Zagato will be officially presented to the public at the 2012 Kuwait Concours d’Elegance.
According to the car manufacturer, the Aston Martin Zagato is actually based on the V12 Vantage, and it’s coming with an aluminum and carbon fiber body, along with a bespoke interior. If you’re interested in this supercar be prepared to write a check for 330.000 GBP or 518.265 USD.
“We are excited to show the new V12 Zagato for the first time in production form at the Kuwait Concours d’Elegance. Over 50 years since the introduction of the iconic DB4GT Zagato, Aston Martin and Zagato have collaborated to create this modern interpretation which remains true to the original focus of craftsmanship, performance and exclusivity”, said the Aston Martin CEO, Ulrich Bez, in a statement.
The new Aston Martin V12 Zagato is powered by a 6.0 liter V12 engine, which is developing a total output of 510 horsepower and it has a peak torque of 570 Nm (420 lb-ft). Aston Martin didn’t say anything about the supercar’s performance yet and more details are expected to be announced once the model will make its debut on the 15th of February, at the Kuwait Concours d’Elegance. Production will be limited to 150 units.
