Aston Martin V12 Zagato was officially unveiled

The Aston Martin V12 Zagato has been officially unveiled ahead of its debut at the Kuwait Concours d’Elegance, on February the 15th.

After the production version of the Aston Martin V12 Zagato has leaked earlier in a brochure, the car manufacturer has decided that enough is enough and the model has been officially presented ahead of its debut at the Kuwait Concours d’Elegance. According to the automaker, it takes about 2.000 man hours to make each model of the Aston Martin V12 Zagato, and the sports car is coming with aluminum hood, roof and doors, while the fenders, door sills and boot lid surround have been made using carbon fiber.

Even if the model has been officially unveiled in its production version, Aston Martin didn’t release any technical details on it, but the company’s brochure says that the sports car is powered by a 6.0 liter V12 engine which is developing a total output of 510 horsepower and it has a peak torque of 570 Nm (420 lb-ft). The unit is mated to a six-speed manual transmission and the 0 to 100 km/h acceleration takes just 4.2 seconds, with a top speed of 305 km/h (190 mph).

The 1.680 kg (3.704 lb) is currently on sale and the starting price has been set at GBP330.000. Production is limited to 150 units and the first deliveries have been scheduled for later this year.
